Traffic Signals Rules
Traffic lights are placed in intersections along the roads where drivers and pedestrians commonly pass and walk by. These lights give a signal when to stop, go, and even turn in the right direction guided with extra caution. Traffic lights utilize neon colors so that they can immediately get the driver’s attention even if they are from afar. Similarly, these lights can command a pedestrian’s attention and thus, lessen the risk of road accidents.
In some cases, drivers fail to follow and even recognize traffic lights. Many road accidents and collisions have been attributed to negligent drivers who fail to obey these traffic lights or signals on intersections. As such, traffic lights play a pivotal role in sending out a message to both the drivers and pedestrians.
