Requalification of Graduated Licensing
Graduated licensing requires the beginner drivers particularly the Classes from G1, G2, M1, and M2 to progress and elevate by walking through a two-step process of licensing. First, drivers must complete the required periods for every level, and second, they must pass the required road tests. All new drivers, except for those in Class M1, have years to finish the graduated-licensing process. However, if you belong to Classes G1, G2, or M2 and your license is about to expire but you have not yet finished the procedure, you could reclaim or maintain the same class of license by passing the test and reimbursing the five-year licensing fee. This process is what we call requalification.
